WASHINGTON, Sept 15 (Hina) - Bosnian army commander General Rasim
Delic ended his visit to the United States on Wednesday during
which he had met high officials of the US Defence Department, State
Department and Congress, the Bosnian embassy in Washington said in
a statement today.
The statement said Delic had warned that Serbia continued
supplying military aid to Bosnian Serbs across two pontoon bridges
over the Drina river south of Zvornik and by the Rudo-Rogatica road
southeast of Sarajevo.
Delic added that military formations of the Yugoslav army's
Novi Sad, Uzice and Valjevo Corps were active on the territory of
Bosnia-Herzegovina. He also reminded that all Bosnian Serb army
commanders were paid and promoted to higher ranks by Belgrade.
Delic emphasized it would be a "serious mistake" to ease
international sanctions on the Yugoslav federation (comprising
Serbia and Montenegro).
Delic thanked the United States for support and efforts to
lift an arms embargo from the Sarajevo government.
