FRENCH POLICE AND CROATIAN POLICE COOPERATING TO SOLVE MURDER

RIJEKA, Sep 14, (Hina)- French police and Croatian police are working together to solve a murder case, after a vehicle with French registration plates and a male body nearby, were discovered in a forest. At a local press conference today, police in Rijeka said that on September 5, at Gornje Jelenje, 40kms north east of Rijeka, an Opel Corsa with French registration plates was found. A male body was discovered near the vehicle. Police said that after an investigation and autopsy at the Rijeka Foresenic Institute, the body was identified as French national, Pierre Castelli, born in 1939. Police said, that according to information from the Police Department in Sisak (50kms east of Zagreb), Castelli was travelling from Sisak towards Zagreb sometime around the middle of August.
