ZADAR, Sep 7 (Hina) - UNPROFOR members do not help Serbs to dig
trenches, said UN spokesman Alun Roberts at today's press
conference held in Zadar. He denied allegations by Colonel Ivan
Zelic who had talked about that last week.
However, Roberts confirmed that Serb paramilitary units had 15
observation posts within the disengagement zone, while the Croatian
army had 5 observation posts.
Roberts also said that Serbs resumed digging of trenches in
the areas of Opsenjak, Karaula, Majkov and in the northern part of
Sector South. They were constructing new pillboxes in the areas, he
said adding that the Croatian party was constructing a pillbox near
Canak.
