JELSA NA HVARU, Aug 6 (Hina) - The Jelsa 1 passenger ship, with
about 80 people on board, sank at 6.15 a.m. Saturday 1.5 miles off
Bol, town on the southern Croatian island of Brac, after a fire
broke out in the engine room, said harbour authorities in Jelsa on
the island of Hvar.
The source said that two ships and a speedboat came to the
rescue and that seven passengers were injured.
