'LAWYERS WITHOUT FRONTIERS' TO COLLECT WAR-CRIME EVIDENCE

ZAGREB, Aug 4 (Hina) - "Lawyers Without Frontiers," a non- government French association, is to gather evidence on war crimes committed in the former Yugoslavia, the foreign ministry announced today. Representatives from the association were today received by Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader. The delegation intends to collect evidence of war crimes and brief war victims ahead of war-crime trials before the International Tribunal in the Hague. The Deputy Foreign Minister welcomed the Association's initiative and suggested that they cooperate with Croatian non- government organisations and the War-Crimes Commission.
