OSIJEK, July 4 (Hina) - The Croatian Union of refugees held a press
briefing on Monday. Head of the Union Mato Simic said that protests
against UNPROFOR's inefficacy have been developing according to the
plan and that refugees will continue blocking of U.N. check-points.
Two U.N check-points have been blocked in the County of Osijek
and Baranja, three check-points in the County of Srijem and
Vukovar, five check-points in the Sisak-Moslavina County and three
check-points in the Karlovac County, said Mato Simic adding that
about 20,000 people have participated in the protest actions since
1 July.
