OSIJEK, July 3 (Hina) - Displaced persons in Croatia continued
blocking the movements of U.N. Protection Force (UNPROFOR) for
the third day and went on with their protests against inefficacy
of UNPROFOR, according to a statement of the community of the
displaced persons in Croatia issued on Sunday.
The displaced persons expressed their dissatisfaction with
UNPROFOR in a dignified and peaceful manner, and no incident had
been registered at protest rallies or at the blockades of the
roads, according to the same statement.
In Osijek-Baranja County the displaced persons for the
Antunovac were guarding at the crossing point at Nemetin on
Sunday, whereas at the same time the exiled persons from Beli
Manastir were keeping watch at the blockages set on the Biljska
road.
The displaced persons will continue protesting until
UNPROFOR consents to conduct negotiations and fulfill conditions
for the displaced persons' return to their homes, the statement
underlines.
