ZAGREB, June 7 (Hina) - "The purpose of my visit to Zagreb was to
assess our mutual relations during the talks with President
Tudjman," said Slovene President Milan Kucan upon his meting with
Croatian President in Zagreb on Tuesday.
We have established that the current situation in the
relations is such that it would not contribute to a good
cooperation that two countries are willing to develop. Deferring
solutions to problems suits neither Croatia nor Slovenia, according
to President Kucan.
"Our discussion was very open and even very heated. We have
seen again that continuous dialogue and our readiness to lead such
dialogues are conditions for seeking solutions to thorny issues,
Slovene President said today after his talks with President
Tudjman.
