SERB ARMED ASSAULTS ON ORASJE-SAMAC AREA

ORASJE, June 5 (Hina) - The Serb aggressors' forces, located in their strongholds of Jenjici, Covic Polje, Loncari, and Obudovac, opened mortar fire at the Orasje-Samac battlefield last night, reported the local command of the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) on Sunday morning. The Serb forces, stationed in Jenjici, fired several artillery shells at the defence lines after 21:00 Saturday. The enemy formations in Loncari fired several howitzer shells at the civilian targets in the Orasje crisis area at 22:30 last night, said the same source. No casualties were reported, but fresh material damage was caused by those armed assaults. Sporadic small arms fire was registered on the Orasje-Samac battlefield this morning. 051049 MET jun 94
