SERB ATTACKS IN ORASJE AND BRCKO AREAS IN NORTHERN BOSNIA

ORASJE/ZOVIK, June 3 (Hina) - Serb forces opened small arms and sniper fire on Croat HVO positions in the Orasje area in northern Bosnia on Friday morning, local HVO officials said in a statement. The heaviest attacks were recorded in the eastern part of the front. Last night, Serb forces pounded the area with anti-aircraft, artillery and mortar fire. The statement said that traffic in the so-called Serb corridor along the Sava River had intensified in the last 24 hours. In the Brcko area in the northeast, Serb forces shelled the strategic point of Boderiste at midnight last night, a local HVO command said.
