SARAJEVO, June 2 (Hina) - The delegation of the Government of
Bosnia-Herzegovina will not go to Geneva to attend negotiations on
a cease-fire, since the precondition has not been fulfilled on the
withdrawal of Serb forces from a 3-kilometre zone around Gorazde,
stated Bosnian Premier Haris Silajdzic.
According to a broadcast of Sarajevo radio, Silajdzic said
that the cease-fire negotiations could not resume, because the
precondition had not been met, set by the United Nations and NATO,
on pulling the Bosnian Serb formations out of the surroundings of
the eastern Bosnian enclave of Gorazde.
The negotiations on a cease-fire in Bosnia-Herzegovina should
have been held in Geneva today on the invitation of the U.N.
Secretary-General's special envoy, Jasushi Akashi.
