(Hina) - At 2400 hours on Saturday the deadline
expired by which Croatian political parties and heads of independent
slates and candidates had to submit to the State Election Commission
(DIP) reports on received donations and campaign costs, as stipulated
by legislation on the financing of political activities and election
campaigns which envisages stricter control of sources of financing and
the way money is spent in election campaigns and in the financing of
political parties.
