(Hina) - In a comment on the dismissal of police
charges against the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Mayor of Rijeka,
Vojko Obersnel, in the case of Rijeka's fresh produce market operator
Trznice Rijeka, a Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) member of the Rijeka
City Council, Hrvoje Buric, said on Saturday that the city budget had
been defrauded of millions of kuna and that he would apologise to
Obersnel only after every missing kuna was paid back into the city
budget.
