HOUSE OF COUNTIES TO CONVENE ON MAY 17

ZAGREB, May 5 (Hina) - Speaker of the House of Counties of the Croatian Parliament Josip Manolic called a session of the House for May 17, 18 and 19. The House is to work through a 34-item agenda, which includes motions for relieving Josip Manolic of his duites and for appointing another speaker. The deputies will also discuss rules of procedure for appointing the chairman and members of the Judiciary Council. The House will then hear a Government's report on current foreign policy issues. The House is also expected to give a preliminary opinion on a bill of amendments to the Constitutional Act, which is to be considered under emergency procedure. 052142 MET may 94
