MOSTAR, March 3 (Hina) - Muslim snipers last night wounded two
civilians in Mostar, says the battlefield report by Herzeg-Bosnian
Ministry of Defence.
The Muslim forces yesterday breached the cease-fire on Zepce
battlefield (some 70km north of Sarajevo), as they fired mortar
grenades at the villages of Brankovici and Ljeskovica. UNPROFOR and
UN observers were informed on the issue and performed
investigation.
In the Vitez area (Lasva valley, some 50km northwest of
Sarajevo) Muslim forces opened small-arms and sniper fire at HVO
positions. Mortar fire was recorded in the evening hours.
Muslims have been accumulating forces and artillery in the
area of Zavidovici and Zeljezno Polje (in the area of Zepce, under
HVO control exposed to Muslim assaults; and Maglaj, under Muslim
control, exposed to Serbs attacks).
Serb troops have been concentrating around Usora and Maglaj. A
week ago, they began a fierce offensive on the Croatian enclave
Usora, some 15 km north of Maglaj.
