PODGORICA, March 2 (Hina) - Three of the four pilots of Yugoslav-
made Galeb aircraft, shot down by two NATO F-16 aircraft over
Bosnia early Monday morning, were killed while the fourth
successfully bailed out, said the Montenegrin MONTENA news agency
quoting a statement by a flying instructor who spoke on condition
of anonymity.
The dead pilots are Lt. Sisarica and Zaric, and Zvezdan Pesic
whose identity had been revealed earlier.
According to the agency, Galeb aircraft took off from the
Udbina airbase (about 100 km north of the Croatian Adriatic town of
Zadar) in the Serb-occupied territory of Croatia.
The Pesic family was informed yesterday about the death of
their 31-year-old son Zvezdan by the information service of the
Yugoslav Army. Pesic was a pilot of the Yugoslav Airforce stationed
at the Golubovci airbase near the capital of Podgorica, the source
said.
