MOSTAR, March 1 (Hina/HABENA) - "The Croatian people in B-H is
ready to accept only that type of B-H settlement which would secure
the sovereignty of the Croatian people within its territorial
entity", said the report from the meeting of the Executive Council
of the B-H Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), held today in Mostar.
The meeting addressed the solution of the crisis in B-H, especially
the negotiations of the Croat and Muslim delegations, undergoing in
Washington.
"Any solution of the crisis in B-H that would not affirm the
sovereignty of the Croatian people on a determined portion of the
B-H territory would be contrary to the political will, historic
right and interest of the Croatian people in B-H," said the report.
Invoking historical examples, the meeting warned against dire
consequences of sovereignty without territorial delimitation, which
would inevitably result, seriatim, in the exodus, extinction and
eventually the destruction of the Croatian people.
While seeking a just and lasting peace, the Croatian people in
B-H always has and will take into account the entire Croatian
national interest, said the end of the report.
