SARAJEVO, Feb 6 (Hina) - Meeting of Bosnia and Herzegovina Croats
is taking place today in Sarajevo. The meeting called by the
organizers as the Parliament of B-H Croats was called by the
Sarajevo Croatian Coordination Committee and prepared by the
Organization Committee of the Parliament in which, apart from the
mentioned Coordination, are representatives of the Parliament of
the Bosnian Posavina and Central Bosnia, the Croatian cultural
society Napredak, B-H branches of Matica Hrvatska, the homeland
societies and the Catholic Church.
As member of Organizational Committee Ivica Simic announced at
yesterday's press conference, the purpose of the meeting is to
"'give meaning' to the position of Croats in B-H in these present
war conditions" and "foresee future political movements and
determine methods for realization of these objectives".
Member of Committee Anto Kovacevic said that the most
important was to stop the clashes between Croats and Muslims, "the
two victims of this war". He holds that in B-H "neither a Muslim
state, nor Croat, or Serb state are possible, but an integral,
decentralized B-H".
The participants are to adopt a document today previously
proposed as Declaration of Parliament of B-H Croats.
