(Hina) - The Appeals Chamber of the International
Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia on Wednesday again turned
down a request by the defence team for Croatian general Ante Gotovina
that the Appeals Chamber direct the Republic of Serbia to produce
documents that would help the defence challenge, in the ongoing
appeals proceedings, the trial court verdict sentencing Gotovina to 24
years in prison for war crimes against Serb civilians during and in
the wake of the 1995 Croatian army and police operation "Storm".
