ZAGREB, Nov 12
(Hina) - The response by the State Election
Commission (DIP) to the query by the Croatian Democratic Party of
Slavonia and Baranja (HDSSB), according to which war crimes convict
Branimir Glavis can be the head of the party's election slates, but
not its candidate in the forthcoming parliamentary election, does not
ensure protection of the fundamental values of the Croatian
constitutional state and raises an unacceptable possibility from the
point of view of constitutional law, the Constitutional Court said in
a statement on Saturday.
