ZAGREB, Nov 8
(Hina) - Defence counsel for the former Chief of the
General Staff of the Yugoslav Army, General Momcilo Perisic, on
Tuesday announced an appeal to the ruling sentencing their client to
27 years in prison for aiding and abetting crimes in Bosnia and
Herzegovina and failure to punish crimes in Croatia, calling on the
Hague war crimes tribunal to annul the ruling and contending that it
declared the very waging of war a crime.
