ZAGREB, May 15 (Hina) - Croatia's industrial production in the
first four months of 1995 rose by 4.4 per cent in comparison with
the same period in the last year.
An increase in the production of raw materials and
manufacturing components was 5.6 percent, whereas an increase in
the production of consumer goods amounted to 3.6 per cent. In the
last four months the production of means of labour was higher by
2.4 per cent than in the same period in 1994, according to Croatian
Statistical Office.
The output increased in 15 branches of industry in the last
four months this year. The highest increase of 41.2 per cent was
registered in the output of petroleum products.
In April alone the industrial production rose by 2 per cent in
comparison with the fourth month in 1994.
