SARAJEVO, May 12 (Hina) - Clashes between Bosnian Serb and
government forces in Sarajevo increased today.
UN has counted at least 20 explosions since 3 p.m. Friday in
Serb-controlled Jewish cemetery in the south and government-
controlled suburb of Dobrinja in the west, UN spokesman Pierre
Chavancy said. The two sides were trading fire from shoulder
launchers and heavy machine-guns, he explained.
UN observers registered four more explosions at the separation
line to the Serb-controlled Grbavica neighbourhood.
Around 4 p.m. Friday Serbs fired a heavy machine-gun round at
a UN French armoured vehicle. The French responded with small-arms.
They had no casualties.
