CROATIAN GOVERNMENT TO REVISE BUDGET TO SECURE RETURN OF REFUGEES

ZAGREB, May 11 (Hina) - The Croatian government said today its principal task would be to organize the return of 14,206 refugees to the recently liberated region of Western Slavonia. Their return should take place before the beginning of the next school year, a government session said. Some 200 million kunas was needed for the reconstruction of 2,000 houses and infrastructure in the area. As these funds do not figure in this year's budget, Prime Minister Nikica Valentic charged the Finance Ministry and other relevant ministries to draft a budget revision.
