ZADAR, May 8 (Hina) - "Where is Mr Lord David Owen today to raise
his voice against attacks on Croats in Banja Luka and elsewhere in
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Croatian people want to follow Christ and despite the
culture of lies, injustice and death, they want a culture of life
and to live in their own homes," the Archbishop of Sarajevo,
Cardinal Vinko Puljic, said in a sermon in the Zadar cathedral last
night.
Recalling the blowing up of a Catholic church and monastery in
the Petricevac district of Banja Luka two days ago, which killed a
Franciscan monk, Puljic expressed his deep solidarity with the
faithful in the Banja Luka archdiocese.
Puljic described the current attitude of the international
community towards the position of the Croatian people in former
Yugoslavia as unjust and hypocritical.
