SARAJEVO, May 7 (Hina) - Serbs again launched artillery attacks on
Bihac last night and this morning.
The UN headquarters in Sarajevo said on Sunday that two cannon
rounds had been fired at the Bihac downtown at about 06:00 pm
Saturday. The shelling severely wounded one man and one woman.
The shells were launched from Serb positions west of the city,
a UN spokesman, Herve Gourmelon, said quoting UN military
observers' reports.
Another artillery shell hit the Bihac downtown at 04:00 am
Sunday. No reports on casualties of this shelling have been issued
so far.
There were about 50 detonations of shells at front lines in
the surroundings of the Bihac 'safe area' in the last 24 hours.
Bangladeshi UN troops counted the same number of explosions at the
confrontation lines around Velika Kladusa.
UN observers registered 850 detonations of artillery and
mortar rounds on all fronts from Doboj to Sapna in northern Bosnia
at the same period.
