SARAJEVO, April 12 (Hina) - Contact Group representatives were to
arrive today in Sarajevo for talks with Bosnian officials, UN
headquarters in Sarajevo reported.
Bosnian Serb authorities located at Pale agreed to guarantee
the security to the plane carrying Contact Group representatives.
The representatives would conduct talks with the Bosnian
President Alija Izetbegovic, as well as Ejup Ganic and Haris
Silajdzic, said UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Alexander Ivanko.
He added that after the departure of the Contact Group for
Zagreb, which was scheduled for 3 pm, UN protection forces would
try to keep the airport open to traffic although Serbs refused to
agree to it.
The UN Civil Sector Commander for Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Enrique Aguilar, was to talk today again with Serb leader Nikola
Koljevic, said the report from the UN headquarters.
