U.S. EXPERT FOR POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS ARRIVES IN CROATIA

ZAGREB, April 6 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Kostovic today met David Foy, professor of psychology at Peperdine University in Los Angeles. Professor Foy, a Vietnam war veteran and prominent expert in post-traumatic stress disorder, was to give a series of lectures and organize workshops for war victims in Croatia. Foy's work would be sponsored by the Croatian Government Office for War Victims and the Croatian Psychologists' Association. Kostovic said that over 50 percent of war invalids in Croatia suffered from some forms of post-traumatic stress, such as "Vietnam syndrome".
