ZAGREB, March 26 (Hina) - A Bihac-bound convoy under sponsorship of
an international action organized by women, left Zagreb on Saturday
morning and afterwards arrived at a UN check-point of Moscenica
where it was waiting for clearance from local Serb authorities to
continue the trip toward its destination, the action's coordination
committee reported on Saturday evening.
The convoy was stopped at the Moscenica check-point before it
could get clearance from Croatian Serb rebels to pass through UN
Protected Area of Croatia toward Serb-besieged Bihac, western
Bosnia.
Women from all over the world have donated food, money and
other necessary goods for the Bihac citizens and organized the
convoy with 25 trucks. Women from Australia, Austria, Canada,
Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Switzerland are
participating in it.
