ZAGREB, March 8 (Hina) - One of the world's leading
telecommunications companies, Sweden's ERICSSON, today acquired
49.07 percent of the Nikola Tesla share portfolio.
The 70,000 DEM contract was signed by Privatisation Minister
Ivica Penic, who doubles as the President of the Privatisation
Fund, and Ericsson President, Hakan Jannson.
Part of the contract was signed by Nikola Tesla manager,
Milivoj Pejkovic, and HPT (Croatian Post and Telecommunication)
director, Mato Perak.
Under the contract, Ericsson is to pay 20 million DEM in cash,
25 million in equipment for HPT and 25 million in production
licences.
Present at the signing were Premier Nikica Valentic, Deputy
Prime Minister, Borislav Skegro, Transport and Communications
Minister, Ivica Mudrinic, and Swedish Ambassador to Croatia, Sunne
Danielsson.
