COMMITTEE FOR RETURN OF CROAT REFUGEES TO BUGOJNO, FOJNICA, TRAVNI

TRAVNI $ K BUSOVACA, March 4 (Hina/HABENA) - The Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ of B-H) party's council for Lepnica-Vrbas Canton today held a session in Busovaca, central Bosnia, to express full support to the Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia- Herzegovina and to discuss the issue of the return of Croat refugees to their hometowns of Bugojno, Travnik and Fojnica (now under Bosnian Army control), the HABENA Herzeg-Bosnian news agency reported on Saturday. More than 80,000 Croats fled those central Bosnian towns, mostly during the conflict between the Bosnian Army and the Croatian Defence Council (HVO). The discussion stressed that there were no concrete figures on temporary accommodation of the Croat refugees and how many of them found shelter in Croatia or in other western countries after being expelled from the area. A committee for resolving the problem of the refugees' return was founded at the Busovaca session. The participants in today's session proposed that Friar Franjo Krizanac, guardian of the Guca Gora Monastery, should be named as the head of the Nova Bila hospital, now being constructed.
