MINISTER REBIC RECEIVES BELGIAN AMBASSADOR

ZAGREB, March 1 (Hina) - Head of the Govt. Office for Refugees, Minister Adalbert Rebic, today met Belgian ambassador to Croatia, Frans Hintjensen. Ambassador Hintjessen said Belgium was willing to donate 330 demountable homes in Savudrija (Istria) to the Croatian Government. Belgium built the houses in 1992 and was willing to maintain them until the end of the year, but next year this responsibility would fall on the Croatian Government. Belgium would also extend financial assistance to the Savudrija-based Caritas. Rebic thanked Belgium for its cooperation and assistance in caring for refugees and displaced persons.
