REBIC MEETS UNRISD OFFICIAL

ZAGREB, Feb 24 (Hina) - The head of the Croatian government office for refugees and displaced persons, Minister Adalbert Rebic, today received a representative of the Geneva-based UN Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD), Briggite R. Sorensen, a government statement said. Sorensen said the aim of her visit was to assess the work of foreign non-governmental humanitarian agencies in Croatia, which were supported by or worked as part of the United Nations. Rebic said there were several problems in cooperation with those agencies, including bureaucracy and the lack of knowledge of the situation in Croatia and its institutions.
