MOSTAR, Jan 1 (Hina/HABENA) - Serb aggressors on Sunday continued
attacking the Livno wider area, southwestern Bosnia.
The town was put on general alert at 03:10 p.m. today because
of the Serb shelling of civilian targets, Herzeg-Bosnian defence
officials reported.
Serb forces overnight fired more than fifty 60- and 82-mm
mortar shells on the Orasje-Samac front, northern Bosnia. The enemy
troops situated in Lepnica, Covic Polje, Obudovac and Batkusa
launched the shells at the Croatian Defence Council (HVO)
positions, the Herzeg-Bosnian officials said.
The village of Vidovice was hit by three mortar shells fired
from the Serb posts in Jenjic in the crises area at 02:00 a.m.
Sunday.
The Serbs today continued shelling the area.
No casualties were reported.
