ZAGREB, Dec 20 (Hina) - The Croatian government, Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO), Croatian oil company INA, Zagrebacka Banka, Rijecka Banka and the Croatian Power Supply Industry on Friday signed a contract on founding an
Ogulin-based (100 kilometres southwest of Zagreb) Croatian Olympic centre "Bjelolasica", at a ceremony in the building of the Croatian government, in the presence of Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa.
ZAGREB, Dec 20 (Hina) - The Croatian government, Croatian Olympic
Committee (HOO), Croatian oil company INA, Zagrebacka Banka,
Rijecka Banka and the Croatian Power Supply Industry on Friday
signed a contract on founding an Ogulin-based (100 kilometres
southwest of Zagreb) Croatian Olympic centre "Bjelolasica", at a
ceremony in the building of the Croatian government, in the
presence of Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa. #L#
After the signing of the contract, Matesa said that the
construction of the olympic centre would begin with the
reconstruction of existing facilities, which would be followed by
the construction of a gymnasium, football fields and an indoor
pool.
President of the HOO and member of the International Olympic
Committee (MOO), Antun Vrdoljak, said that the HOO would ask MOO
for resources for investing into Bjelolasica.
According to him, private investors expressed interest for
investing into the sports-tourist-catering centre.
