ZAGREB, Dec 16 (Hina) - A Croatian delegation, led by an aide to
the Croatian Foreign Minister, Hido Biscevic, was attending the
working consultations in Poland, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said
in a statement on Monday.
During talks with officials of the Polish President's Office
and Foreign Ministry, both sides stressed that there were great
possibilities of improving relations on all levels. The announced
visit of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman to Poland for the first
half of 1997 would significantly contribute to the promotion of
relations.
The Croatian delegation and their hosts considered all aspects
of the current state of EuroAtlantic integration processes,
particularly of expansion of the NATO alliance.
The two sides confirmed the interest in negotiations on
reaching bilateral agreement on free trade in line with Croatia's
bid for the full membership of the CEFTA.
