ZADAR, Dec 12 (Hina) - A symposium called "Croats in Boka Kotorska"
opened at the Faculty of Philosophy in the central Adriatic town of
Zadar on Thursday.
The three-day gathering will hear reports and discuss Croatian
cultural heritage in the Boka Kotorska area of neighbouring
Montenegro.
"Boka Kotorska is full of Catholic elements, works of art and
written monuments which testify to the Western orientation of that
area," Prof. Stjepo Obad said.
Participants were addressed by the president of the Zagreb-
based society "The Boka Kotorska Navy of 809", Zvonimir Janovic,
who said that 40 percent of Montenegro's movable treasures and two-
thirds of the immovable belonged to Croatian culture.
