ZAGREB, Dec 9 (Hina) - A Croatian business delegation led by
Economy Minister Davor Stern will be attending a four-day
ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO) which
opened in Singapore on Monday.
Croatian officials, who have been granted observer status, are
scheduled to have a number of bilateral meetings with
representatives of Canada, the United States, Malaysia and other
WTO member states.
At the end of last week, the Croatian business delegation
ended an official visit to Indonesia during which the two sides
agreed that Croatia and Indonesia had great prospects for
strengthening their economic cooperation.
During talks at the Indonesian Ministry of Industry and Trade,
the Croatian side delivered a draft agreement on technical and
economic cooperation, which was expected to be signed soon, as well
as an agreement on avoiding double taxation and an agreement on
investment stimulation and protection.
