ZAGREB, Oct 19 (Hina) - A two-day meeting about international
cooperation of religious television programmes began in the
Croatian Radio Television building in Zagreb on Friday.
The meeting is to be addressed by the head of the Croatian
Bishops' Conference press office, Ilija Zivkovic, and in the
afternoon by Cardinal Franjo Kuharic and assistant Zagreb bishop

The meeting was organized by the Croatian Television and the
Catholic Programme at a German television station in Mainz and is
aimed at connecting western European Catholic TV programmes with
similar programmes from central and eastern Europe.
Croatian Vice-Premier and president of the Commission for
Relations with Religious Communities, Jure Radic, on Friday spoke
at the meeting about relations between the state and religious
communities and about the positive role religious communities had
played in the Croatian homeland war, especially the Catholic
Church.
