ZAGREB, Oct 15 (Hina) - The Croatian Radio programme has recently been available to Croatians in the world via the Internet. The audible news emitted in English and Croatian, as well as other entertainment programmes have been
introduced by the Croatian Informative Centre (HIC), HIC said in a statement on Tuesday.

The HIC started broadcasting a short-wave radio programme two
years ago, with the cooperation of the Croatian Emigrant's Office
(Matica Iseljenika), Croatian Radio and Croatian World Congress.
The transmitter of 100 kW in Deanovac near Ivanic Grad has
been in operation since November 1994.
Where the radio cannot reach, the HIC can transmit news via
the Internet page http://www.matis.hr/radio.
Besides a PC with audio possibilities, in order to be able to
hear the Croatian Radio news, users need the "RealAudio Player"
programme available in Windows, Macintosh and Unix versions.
