WASHINGTON, Oct 11 (Hina) - US Assistant Secretary of State is to
travel to Bosnia-Herzegovina over the week-end to met the Bosnian
Serb leadership at Pale, the President of the Presidency of Bosnia-
Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegovic, and Federation President Kresimir
Zubak, the State Department said on Friday.
The visit is aimed at "encouraging the establishment of new
national institutions," spokesman Nicholas Burns said.
He confirmed that a Contact Group meeting in London on
Thursday confirmed that Bosnian Serbs faced "further isolation" if
they failed to fulfill their Dayton obligations.
The United States has not ruled out the possibility of new
sanctions, Burns said.
