The talks focused on possible modalities of the investment of
German capital into Croatia's reconstruction and development.
Radic told his guests that great possibilities for the
investment of German capital lay in large infrastructure projects,
such as the construction of highways and railways. Croatia also
expected Germany to invest into Croatia's tourism, he said, adding
that France, Italy and the United States had already started
investing into such projects.
Schwanhold said that the atmosphere for investments in Germany
was improving and that it would surely prompt German companies to
participate in new investments.
