VUKOVAR, Sept 14 (Hina) - Croatian and Serb implementation
committees for education and culture on Saturday held talks at the
UNTAES headquarters in Vukovar, eastern Croatia, in the presence of
Croatian Education and Sports Minister Ljilja Vokic and U.N.
Transitional Administrator for the Croatian Danubian area, General
Jacques Klein.
"We have offered what is allowed by the positive regulations
of the Republic of Croatia", Vokic said after a closed meeting,
adding that "the meeting was useful since some problems
crystallized".
Head of the Serb delegation Djuro Podunavac said that the Serb
side would not be able to adopt all constitutional and legal
solutions for education in the area in the planned short period of
time.
