ZAGREB, Sept 12 (Hina) - Croatian and Irish parliamentary
delegations on Thursday held talks in Zagreb on the promotion of
cooperation between the two peoples, countries and parliaments.
The Irish delegation, led by senator Michael O'Kennedy,
arrived in Zagreb on Wednesday for a five-day visit to Croatia.
The Croatian delegation was headed by parliament Vice-
President Stjepan Radic who said that the representatives of the
Croatian parliament would advocate the promotion of political,
economic and cultural cooperation between Croatia and Ireland.
O'Kennedy said that a similar political fate connected the
Irish and Croatian peoples and stressed that cooperation and
friendship were what Ireland offered to Croatia.
