ZAGREB, Sept 6 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Friday
received a letter from Pope John Paul II.
He said that while he was on a flight over the Croatian
territory on his way to Hungary, his thoughts had been with all the
dear citizens of Croatia, and he had recalled with satisfaction his
visit to Zagreb in September 1994.
He forwarded his greetings to Tudjman with an ardent prayer to
God to bless the efforts for the strengthening of peace and harmony
among the peoples in Croatia.
