Gen. Michael Walker recommended to all non-government and
humanitarian organisations to immediately evacuate their foreign
personnel from the Serb entity, Walker's office said in a
statement.
The operation, named "Fear Naught," began at 2 p.m. Monday in
response to the refusal of Bosnian Serb army commanders to allow
IFOR to inspect a military facility in Han Pijesak.
"The Implementation Force demands unconditional access to all
military facilities and plans in Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Bosnian
Serb army should have no doubt that IFOR will insist on full
compliance," the statement said.
