The talks had lasted until 2.30 pm, but a compromise had not
been reached, Gasic said.
"As Sunday is a non-working day in western Europe, we have
another day," Gasic said, adding that the final decision would be
known by 12.00 hours.
If the new mandate of the Joint Action did not come into
effect on Monday, renunciation is to take effect, but this had to
be confirmed in writing by 15 member countries of the European
Union, Gasic said.
