TRAVNIK, 27 July (Hina) - The bodies of five Croats, which were
exhumed on July 10 and 11 from a mass grave in the Croat village of
Maljine, were buried on Saturday in Nova Bila (central Bosnia).
'June 8 of 1993 is the most tragic day in the history of
Travnik Croats. On that day, 20,000 Croats were expelled from their
homes and several hundred people were killed in the municipalities
of Guca Gora and Brajkovici. Among the victims were 36 residents of
the village of Maljine', deputy to the head of the Travnik
municipal leadership, Anto Spajic, said in a valedictory speech.
The bodies of 29 Croats who were killed by the Bosnian army
members and Mujahedeen on 8 June 1993 in the village of Maljine
have still not been found.
