TUZLA, 11 July (Hina) - The Jordanian queen Noor, the commissioner of the European Union for humanitarian issues, Emma Bonino, and the U.S. Ambassador to Austria, Swanee Hunt, arrived in Tuzla today in order to join a group of some
6,000 women, Srebrenica refugees, who came to Tuzla to mark the first anniversary of the Serb occupation of the once U.N. protected area of Srebrenica.
TUZLA, 11 July (Hina) - The Jordanian queen Noor, the commissioner
of the European Union for humanitarian issues, Emma Bonino, and the
U.S. Ambassador to Austria, Swanee Hunt, arrived in Tuzla today in
order to join a group of some 6,000 women, Srebrenica refugees, who
came to Tuzla to mark the first anniversary of the Serb occupation
of the once U.N. protected area of Srebrenica. #L#
The three guests will take part with other Srebrenica women in
a meeting entitled 'Women on Srebrenica' and ask from international
factors to find out the truth about the fate of some 10,000 Bosniac
men who went missing after the Serb army had captured Srebrenica.
The meeting will also send an open letter and call on all
women in the world to join them in their efforts to bury the
victims of the Srebrenica genocide in villages they had lived or
had been killed in.
The Jordanian queen Noor escorted to Tuzla more than 4 tons of
medical supplies.
