ZAGREB, July 11 (Hina) - A Croatian artist Josip Demirovic is on Thursday to present his "world's biggest painting" in Paris. The painting was posted on the 'Zagrepcanka' building in Zagreb on 11 July 1987 on occasion of the
"Univerzijada" sports games and the birth of the 5 billionth person on earth.
ZAGREB, July 11 (Hina) - A Croatian artist Josip Demirovic is on
Thursday to present his "world's biggest painting" in Paris.
The painting was posted on the 'Zagrepcanka' building in
Zagreb on 11 July 1987 on occasion of the "Univerzijada" sports
games and the birth of the 5 billionth person on earth. #L#
After being on show in Paris, the "world's biggest painting"
will tour the world and will evetually be posted on the UN building
in New York under the patronage of UNESCO, on occasion of the 10th
anniversary of the birth of the 5 billionth person on earth.
Demirovic's "world's biggest painting" has a surface area of
777 metres squared, but is not completed.
It is unique because it "flows towards eternity".
Demirovic is also the author of the "world's smallest
painting".
